The Best 3 Weeks

So since I just started this blog, I decided that i would tell a little bit about the life I lead right now... here, let me show you.

<--------------- Yeah, that's me at work with Ariel.
{we work REALLY hard!}

since this is probalby the most fun that I've had since I starte this blog I thought I'd go back a bit more.

Ok, So In November of 2007 Amberlyn told me I should go on this 21 day trip where they travel to all the church history sites. ON a BUS! for 21 days! At first I was like, oh OK but then I about it and I realized I was poor ($2,000) + it was for 21 days (and I could earn a lot of money in that time!) so then I told Amberlyn that I wasn't going to go.

THEN in May 2008 I decided to go. So they had to tours one in June and July. I knew more people that were going in June but they had no room..... :( So I was a defalut July.

LET me tell you. THE BEST 3 WEEKS of MY LIFE! I would totally encourage people to go on this thing. [Sadly for you older folk, its only for high school seniors who just graduated....you could apply for a chaperone!]

ANYWAY, I only knew a few people who were going, but the thought came to me that I should invite Sean {who I've known my entire life} so I did. He came on even later in the tour than me!
Im not going to go on a play by play of this trip, because it was SUCH a cool experience that it

would bore to many of you!! So I will just tell an average day

1. get a wake up call at 6:30 then another one at 6:45 then another one at 7:00
2. be on the bus at 8:30 SHARP! {other wise you had to pay a.........ummm......."kitty" fee} blah.
3. Sing three GREAT songs {I'm being fecicous. They got annoying by the 2nd day.} Then another random song.
4. Devotional
5. Then the first 40/40 {40 minutes of reading scriptures, and 40 minutes of sharing}
6. Rest stop!
7. Journal/sometimes sleep until lunch
8. Lunch
>back on the bus!<
9.next 40/40
10. usually we would make around 1 stop a day for a site until we got to the big city areas {NY, DC}
>back on the bus!<
11. read scriptures/memorize specified quotes/scriptures/write in your journal. {almost everyone at this point in the day slept or either talked to other people on the bus.}
12. Dinner!
>back on the bus!<
13. Drive until we get to the hotel for that night.

......Thats a day where we would be driving most of the time.
We went EVERYWHERE! Martins cove, Mt. Pisgah, Nauvoo, Kirtland, Sharon VT, Palmyra, The big Apple Susquehanna River, Scranton PA {for lunch :).... but still!}, DC, Adam-ondi-Ahmen. Just to name a few :)
Seriously, SUCH an AWESOME trip! The spirit on that trip was such a different one than I have ever felt! IT WAS SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO hard to say goodbye to everything. And as we were pulling in Chelsey, Lauren and I started SOBBING! It was so hard to say goodbye to everything! The next day was a Sunday and as I was sitting in church {I think I was going through withdrawls} I was crying and telling my mom that I might know what a small portion of return missionaries feel when they come off the mish. SUCH AN AWESOME TIME!

This is my family! {there was about 100 kids on this tour and we were divided into 10 families}
Back: Austin , Becky, Lisa
Middle: Ali, Lauren, Megan, Me, Chelsey
Front: Neils, Matt
This is where we spent the 7,000 miles!
SUCH A GOOD TRIP!!!
