Really, what is in a name? Everything. It like the title of an essay. So, please don't name your DOG Molly. You're dog is not a person and therefore doesn't deserve a human name. Especially mine.
Get creative, or don't get creative. Call your dog woofy, spot, or even fido. Why not something un-human?

So sorry your name has made you so sensitive, or rather your nickname has made you so sensitive. I've never heard of a dog named Mallory.

Now here is the question. Is Milo a dog name or human!?
But I love animals with human names. My dog is Ralphie. He wouldn't be the same without the name Ralphie. But... If someone named their pet "Hayley" I'd be pretty perterbed myself.
